Memorial Day is of great significance to the country, where we take a day to remember all the veterans who fought for this country. To celebrate and honor the veterans who passed and are still here, the Williamson County Veterans Services has given us an extensive list of great Memorial Day services across the metro-area.Here are the list of events: Memorial Day Ceremony and Band Concert When: Monday, May 28. Ceremony at 9:30 a.m. and concert at 7 p.m. Where: Georgetown-Williamson County Veterans Memorial Plaza, 2 Texas Drive, Georgetown, Texas 78633What: The event is free and open to public. The special guest speaker is U.S. Rep. John Carter, R-Round Rock, and music will be provided by the 36th Infantry Division Band of the Texas Army National Guard. The 36th Infantry Division Band from Camp Mabry in Austin will also present a concert at 7 p.m. on Sunday, May 28.
